Pros

This review is about Rainin Oakland only. Rainin is backed by MT. Perfect if you want a 8.00 to 5-00 job no stress. Good benefits but salaries are way below market

Cons

The company sells plastic parts. Not a tech company, if you want a career, are driven, have ideas not a good company. Constant change in management/ leadership. The GM is focused on turning the company around but internally we have doubts about his plan. HR does not really understand the company business are really not interested in people operation , busy doing non value added work. No new products on the Horizon, R&D is in deep sleep, Operations what is referred internally as PO is in chaos. But some how mange’s to deliver products. There is no accountability with in the PO org. Communication through out the company is on a need to know basis creates a lot of conflict

Pros

Close to home. Flexible hours, Can run my business from home and work at the same time. No one really cares what you do when you work from home. Just need to keep your manager happy, Attended a few meeting till the day i retired

Cons

The salary is below market. If you are an old timer like me you are put at the bottom of the list. Very biased to certain ethnic community. HR is very biased and ignorant specially the person incharge. Any questions you ask them 100% of the time you will not hear back. Too many people milking the system, I was one of them. Management does not have a plan on how to fix the broken systems as they keep on hiring incompitent people. When they hire good people they leave as no support for new ideas or changes that would make it efficient
