Pros

The base salary was decent. That is the only pro I can think of.

Cons

Where do I begin? No management support. Turnover with management and sales/recruiting was never ending. No recruiting support. No direction. NO TRAINING! Micro-managed. Talked down upon. No trust from management- always being questioned, even after I left. Commission plan is so unfair and non-recoverable draw was still required to be paid back. New business brought in was turned away due to low margins, however most of the business MMI has is enterprise=low margin. After leaving, still having people looking into my personal phone and accounts. Change your passwords to everything and reset your phone! So glad to be gone!

Mitchell Martin Response

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy while working at MMI. We take feedback from all of our employees, past and present, very seriously. However, in this case there are some complete inaccuracies that we feel we need to address. MMI does not have access to your personal phone and personal accounts. The only thing we would monitor after termination would be your Mitchell Martin email account. MMI pays our employees accurately and on time and you were absolutely paid correctly. A non-recoverable draw is still a draw, as was explained at time of offer. Additionally, at time of termination, HR went over exactly how our payroll works, which days you would be paid for and reiterated that we hadn’t held back any pay from when you started. Benefits were explained in a customized new hire orientation and again at time of termination. Most of the managers in the NY and NJ offices have been with the company for more than ten years; however, we do recognize that we have had some manager turnover in the Southwest and we have done everything possible to ensure a smooth transition for the staff in those branches impacted. What is not mentioned in this review is that this employee was with MMI for less than a year. During her time MMI, we provided the employee with additional time off, as well as accommodated her to work remote and flexible hours. We feel that this review was written with malicious intent and is in no way an accurate reflection of our organization.

Pros

Mitchell Martin has strong client relationships with some huge companies and a solid reputation in the staffing industry, which helps create meaningful opportunities. Employees are exposed to a wide range of industries and technologies, making it a good place to build diverse experience. The fast-paced environment helps develop resilience and sharpens both sales and recruiting skills. There is relatively easy access to leadership due to a flatter organizational structure. You also gain hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and business development. The level of tenure within this business speaks for itself, an employee owended staffing company that is 43 years old doesn't get there by accident.

Pros

Competitive compensation aligned with market rates.

Cons

Limited communication and support when my contract was ending. I reached out regarding future opportunities but responses were slow, if any. Not much assistance was provided in finding a new assignment after my contract ended. Now I’m without a job. No income.
