Pros

Young crowd which means a great time all the time

Cons

A month after a raving review I was let go right due to performance which my then manager told me he couldn't give me examples because he didn't oversee my work....hmmmmm. Even more interesting this was right when I was due for my raise. They brought in a lower paid person to replace me. My manager asked me to go back to my desk and make a list of all my pending duties(HA HA). Seriously? I don't think so. They texted my phone after I left asking me where to find things and I caught the CFO talking about me on email he didn't realize I was copied on. Extremely unprofessional. I am glad I am no longer there, this place is like Like Azkaban. It sucks the joy out of you.

We appreciate you taking the time to review MMI on Glassdoor and your positive approval rating of our CEO. As part of our off-boarding process, we conduct exit interviews and HR was never made aware of any situation where a raving review was followed by a termination for performance shortly after. Therefore, if you haven't already, I invite you to reach out to HR to discuss your situation. MMI has a very low turnover rate, especially for staff with one or more year of tenure. We have also been fortunate to help many employees grow and watch their careers advance at MMI. Servicing our customers and employees above all else is one of our core values; we would never think of or treat our employees as "disposable".

Pros

Mitchell Martin has strong client relationships with some huge companies and a solid reputation in the staffing industry, which helps create meaningful opportunities. Employees are exposed to a wide range of industries and technologies, making it a good place to build diverse experience. The fast-paced environment helps develop resilience and sharpens both sales and recruiting skills. There is relatively easy access to leadership due to a flatter organizational structure. You also gain hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and business development. The level of tenure within this business speaks for itself, an employee owended staffing company that is 43 years old doesn't get there by accident.

Pros

Competitive compensation aligned with market rates.

Cons

Limited communication and support when my contract was ending. I reached out regarding future opportunities but responses were slow, if any. Not much assistance was provided in finding a new assignment after my contract ended. Now I’m without a job. No income.
