Generally, everyone is a pleasure to work with. - Good managers within GCS with people who really understand the product and the industry. - Catered lunches on Friday. - Opportunity to work across multiple teams. - Yoga available for those at HQ. - Ping pong tournaments. - Most people are interested in the betterment of the company and the products. - Interesting niche that opens the door to the Life Sciences industry. - Every project is different, so you are constantly learning. - Upbeat pace. - Willingness to create programs/plans to keep people happy.
Cons
Cons: - Salary needs to be fought for. - Architecture of the product needs to be looked at and improved upon to improve product quality. - Not enough activities to build happy employees and team comradery. - Difficult to work with an offshore PD team in India. People based out of the stateside tends to sacrifice more time than India. - Benefits are okay. Coverage could be much better for a company in the tech sector of Silicon Valley. - No 401k matching. - Need to constantly fight for work life balance, otherwise management will just over work you. - Needs more technical innovation and investment into technical innovation. - Cheap on handing out shares to employees outside of upper management.
