While a large company, it's been pieced together through acquisitions and can sometimes feel like disorganized small companies trying to work together.

After acquiring Vista, the top level management changed and their simple logic is to cut the costs by removing the RSU benefits, delay hikes and extremely less hike. Now ModelN is becoming service type company without any focus on building new stuffs. People are silent and no one raising his/her voice. Its altogether we are living in a slavery environment after getting acquired by Vista. No future optimistic goals, No investment in new technologies and products. New product goals which was stated before acquisition is kept on hold.

After 4 years of work with the company, I did not see any future prospects. Leadership is very weak within the product org, the technology is antiquated, and the org is super political. Company culture is very dated; the company adopted a strange internal system where you can give virtual high fives to your colleagues or something along those lines, no one cares about this and this is not the way to make people feel valued and motivated. Please find another way to make employees feel appreciated and motivated. Catty and manipulative coworkers - I know this isn't fair to say since 99% of Model Ners are nice and professional, but sadly it only takes one person to ruin it for the rest of us.

Stuck in the dark ages, uses outdated technology and hinders automation. Very old school approach to managing. Management stuck in their inefficient redundant ways and won’t make room for innovation or change.

Steep learning curve – The domain (revenue management, especially for life sciences) can be complex for new joiners. Legacy codebase in some areas – Some parts of the system use older technologies, which can slow down learning modern stacks. Limited tech stack variety – Fewer opportunities to explore newer frameworks or cloud-native tools in some teams.
