Couldn't pay me enough - Intake Specialist Morgan & Morgan Employee Review

Pros

Location is downtown with private parking and there is a clean, professional environment. The second floor of the building had a small "cafe" that serves food so you don't have to leave the building.

Cons

Working as an intake specialist at Morgan & Morgan was by far the worst experience I have had at a job. From the moment you begin training you can tell how disconnected the employees are. The management and trainers don't really care about you, and simply want you to do your job. They will provide support, but it seems almost like a task rather than a pleasure. Although I had one of few kind leads, there were others that only got to that position by knowing someone with influence personally. Aside from the people, the job is the worst part. Once you get to work during the day after gaining some seniority, the calls are back to back with angry, entitled bigots who think they have a case against Campbell because they burnt their tongue. On top of that, you only get a 30 minute break from the chaos. I would not recommend.

Pros

Amazing culture and people to work with. No stress from work. Pay is okay. But compared to other positions like mine below average but pays the bills. Relaxed atmosphere as long as you don’t take advantage.

Cons

No WFH opportunities or even hybrid

Pros

Not many to list. Pay is not terrible. Freedom & minimal office rules if that's your preference.

Cons

Nobody would believe that this is America's Largest PI Firm based on the way this office looks. There are broken desks, broken doors, broken toilets, no air conditioning in the lobby, mismatched desks and paint colors on the walls, stains in the carpet, and yard sale style fold out table for the office mail table. Company dress code is not enforced to any degree. Staff comes into the office intoxicated or high on marijuana (causing the entire office to smell of weed). Staff comes in and out of the office whenever they please - no regard to the hours they are scheduled to work. The amount of interoffice drama is extreme due to lack of management. The workload is also extreme. Something changes with policies, procedures, or case management software weekly. You are expected to hit metrics and goals that do NOT benefit the clients - only the firm. Numerous complaints reported to HR including racial slurs being used and no action was taken.
