Pros

Great boss that is very approachable and treats his employees wonderfully, happy hours, flexible if you are a student or have other minor schedule confllicts, decent benefits, mostly friendly co-workers, looks good on your resume, mostly laid back environment as long as you're doing your job

Cons

pay scale is very skewed and unfair, underpaid, not much advancement (they hire a lot of outside people to fill positions rather than promoting within), a lot of favoritism especially with HR: they will never be reprimanded for anything that other employees are such as petty dress code violations, tardiness, breaks on the clock, etc., we are often treated like children rather than adults and micromanaged by HR, attorneys focus about 90% of their attention on case managers as if the litigation team is a group of irrelevant peasants: I assume because they bank cases, but litigation works very hard with their cases and getting them to trial or even settled as well, turnover is above average, hiring untrained, unprofessional employees that sink the ship yet get the same rewards/pay as you, lacking teamwork

Pros

Amazing culture and people to work with. No stress from work. Pay is okay. But compared to other positions like mine below average but pays the bills. Relaxed atmosphere as long as you don’t take advantage.

Cons

No WFH opportunities or even hybrid

Pros

Not many to list. Pay is not terrible. Freedom & minimal office rules if that's your preference.

Cons

Nobody would believe that this is America's Largest PI Firm based on the way this office looks. There are broken desks, broken doors, broken toilets, no air conditioning in the lobby, mismatched desks and paint colors on the walls, stains in the carpet, and yard sale style fold out table for the office mail table. Company dress code is not enforced to any degree. Staff comes into the office intoxicated or high on marijuana (causing the entire office to smell of weed). Staff comes in and out of the office whenever they please - no regard to the hours they are scheduled to work. The amount of interoffice drama is extreme due to lack of management. The workload is also extreme. Something changes with policies, procedures, or case management software weekly. You are expected to hit metrics and goals that do NOT benefit the clients - only the firm. Numerous complaints reported to HR including racial slurs being used and no action was taken.
