Pros

The people, great resources to help clients when properly executed. Used to be the best place to work all around - people would scramble to refer friends / family for open positions.

Cons

New management is ridiculously micromanaging, great systems are put into place but not executed properly so they turn into a headache, no team environment anymore, no proper training for any staff - attorneys included. There are no corporate benefits like you see with other company’s but they want to act “corporate”. No communication between different levels of management which makes it frustrating for hourly staff. Pay scale and performance reviews are a joke.

Pros

The firm provides unusually high-level litigation exposure for young attorneys who are willing to work hard and take initiative. Within my first year, I had opportunities to participate in complex national and international litigation, travel for case-related work, and assist with major depositions involving high-ranking corporate and safety executives at large pharmaceutical manufacturers. I have learned an enormous amount about managing large-scale litigation teams, coordinating complex discovery and strategy across multiple stakeholders, and understanding how critical communication, delegation, and team coordination are in mass tort and complex litigation environments. The experience accelerated my professional development significantly and gave me practical exposure that many attorneys likely would not receive until much later in their careers. The work is fast-paced, intellectually engaging, and rewarding for attorneys who enjoy responsibility and complex problem-solving.

Cons

The pace and workload can be intense, particularly when managing multiple active matters, deadlines, and large litigation teams simultaneously. Attorneys are expected to be proactive, highly organized, and responsive in a demanding environment. The learning curve can be steep for newer attorneys adjusting to large-scale litigation practice.
