Great products. learn a lot about networking. good teachers. promising future. smart group of people. work life balance 3 days work from home a month. open minded people. management and CEO are great people. views ethics as an important quality. bonus was great for 2015. I hope to all that Netgear strives. I'm sad to leave activities (golfing, go karts, sailing - missed that one, dragon boating, dinner events) participate in more than just tech support: writing articles, help with new features, help with QA, help with lab building. You learn so much. I'm very grateful for the opportunity here.
Cons
pay. a couple of years there were lay offs but (something in the air makes you worry every new year about this - around superbowl time), this year its more promising & there werent any (at least not from my point of view). career opportunities dont come out often. bonus was missed 2 years. i wish there was more sharing between different departments, its like certain departments keep everything a secret (which doesnt make sense to me, because we all signed the NDA, we should all be able to learn and work off each other). the excuse that its more security, doesn't justify it, as you can just raise security and solve that problem.
