Pros

Working at NVA means sharing time with a huge network of professionals with a passion for improving the lives of the animals and clients we serve. We do all of this through a servant leadership model that allows all of our practices to maintain their individual uniqueness. I have been employed in the veterinary industry for 20+ years both private and now corporate and I feel such pride working for NVA because as a company we are true to our values, vision, and mission throughout the organization.

Cons

I struggle to come up with any downsides to working at NVA. I plan to retire with this company as long as it maintains the current culture.

Pros

Helps the hospital afford things such as advanced monitoring equipment

Cons

Took away all part time employees benefits such as pto, sick time, and holiday pay. They tried to “smooth it over” by doing a calculation based on how much you worked the past two years that decides how much of a “bonus” you get every 6 months to make up for taking away our pto, sick time and holiday pay. It’s been 7 months and we have yet to receive that. Also this is only for 2 years and then after that you’re SOL.
