Pros

Probably the best veterinary consolidator in the industry.

Cons

DVM's, even a bad apple, will always be valued more then a Hospital Manager due to the fact that even a bad DVM produces. Local Hospital Managers are responsible for everything. It's rare that Managing DVM's are asked for any explanations as far as operations and management is concerned or are held responsible. Yet Managing DVM's are paid quarterly management bonuses that do not apply to Hospital Managers. Hospital Managers that operate a hospital without a Managing DVM are not compensated extra.

Pros

Helps the hospital afford things such as advanced monitoring equipment

Cons

Took away all part time employees benefits such as pto, sick time, and holiday pay. They tried to “smooth it over” by doing a calculation based on how much you worked the past two years that decides how much of a “bonus” you get every 6 months to make up for taking away our pto, sick time and holiday pay. It’s been 7 months and we have yet to receive that. Also this is only for 2 years and then after that you’re SOL.
