If you wanted to stay with this company, plenty of opportunities to move up or around

Cons

The people don’t matter. I can’t give raises, they don’t want employees to get benefits or be full time, and they expect a high financial growth pattern each year. In pet care if you’re already doing good there is only so much more growth you can expect without expanding. Somehow they want me to spend less on labor, keep customers and employees happy, and have more profits each year. This job used to be fun.

Helps the hospital afford things such as advanced monitoring equipment

Cons

Took away all part time employees benefits such as pto, sick time, and holiday pay. They tried to “smooth it over” by doing a calculation based on how much you worked the past two years that decides how much of a “bonus” you get every 6 months to make up for taking away our pto, sick time and holiday pay. It’s been 7 months and we have yet to receive that. Also this is only for 2 years and then after that you’re SOL.
