      Pros

      Health insurance plans were pretty good, offered pet insurance as well.

      Cons

      Lots of infighting, favoritism, and nepotism especially now that JAB took over as the holding company. There are not a lot of areas where you can move up in the company so there is massive turnover. Lack of hiring from within created a lot of tension between new employees and tenured employees who had been asking for promotion. Long hours during month-end financial close due to poor planning and aging systems that could not take the strain of the influx of data.

      Helps the hospital afford things such as advanced monitoring equipment

      Cons

      Took away all part time employees benefits such as pto, sick time, and holiday pay. They tried to “smooth it over” by doing a calculation based on how much you worked the past two years that decides how much of a “bonus” you get every 6 months to make up for taking away our pto, sick time and holiday pay. It’s been 7 months and we have yet to receive that. Also this is only for 2 years and then after that you’re SOL.
