Pros

After 3 years with NVA the only pro I can give is that my role is remote. Every other pro for working here has been taken away or disappeared. I work for the support center.

Cons

Company continues to show how unstable it is since a large lay off occurred last year. Looks like they are involved in several lawsuits. I wouldn't bet $5 on having a job tomorrow. Recently told many employees that they were not in compliance for pay and moved everyone to hourly which included losing many benefit. We had just been given unlimited PTO for one which my manager seemed to take advantage of right away. Leadership does not make time to connect with those in lower roles. My manager often. Takes time off and does not inform any of us on their team when they do. One time they actually went out of the country. Our access is so restricted we are not even able to back them up or address issues on our own. They are non responsive but if they need anything better respond within seconds. Constantly cleaning up after leadership with no thanks. I was also told I would receive 3-5% raise but only received a half percent raise. This year will receive nothing as they will site that we cannot afford it because of how poorly we are doing. Turn over in C suite roles is insane. Zero communication or direction when changes occur. I don't feel set up to succeed here. Our sites are aware of how dysfunctional it is and it's getting harder to hide it from them.

Pros

Helps the hospital afford things such as advanced monitoring equipment

Cons

Took away all part time employees benefits such as pto, sick time, and holiday pay. They tried to “smooth it over” by doing a calculation based on how much you worked the past two years that decides how much of a “bonus” you get every 6 months to make up for taking away our pto, sick time and holiday pay. It’s been 7 months and we have yet to receive that. Also this is only for 2 years and then after that you’re SOL.
