Pros
Having worked in the "business" of healthcare for over 12 years, I had become quite jaded. When I started working for NSM, I encountered a company culture I had never been exposed to before. I have never worked for a company with employees that are so loyal and dedicated to their jobs, their clients and their company. The average tenure of the staff can be measured in decades. This company really cares for its clients and employees. You can really feel the sense of pride people have in their jobs and of the impact it has on the clients that we encounter on a daily basis. This is a great place to work.
Cons
There is a lot of growth and there has been some significant changes in management and executive leadership. There is a culture of change going on and lots of new processes are being develop. This is not necessarily a con, but there is a lot of restricting that can be a little stressful, but these changes will create a better defined structure and consistent processes that will benefit the company greatly in the months and years to come.
