Pros
Great place if you're looking for a place to embrace "fun at work". People work hard but understand that everyone needs good work/life balance. I personally never had to work extra hours, and I was client facing. I have worked in places that expected you to be heads down the full time you were at work, but if I want to enjoy a round of ping pong or play a game in the middle of the work day, it's a place that welcomes fun as long as you get your work done. There's plenty of events at the actual office to at least get people together, and the many slack channels for hobbies and interests really helps connect, though it is quieter since pre-covid.
Cons
Sometimes projects don't have a perfect vision. This I don't think is a knock at Nerdery, but more to the industry as a whole though. We can't always plan everything ahead, and at a consulting firm, it's just hard sometimes because you have expectations of delivery you might not have as just a full time employee of the client.
