Pros
NetApp is one of the leading companies in the enterprise storage industry, and employs some of the smartest and experienced engineers. I joined the company fresh out of college and owe most of what I know in my niche to the people I work with who are very humble and eager to share their knowledge.
Cons
NetApp used to be the best place to work for, but these days no one talks of such thing anywhere in the company. It feels like everyone is burned out and unappreciated. Ad-hoc decisions are the norm, and management seem confused most of the time. While it is too early to write it off, most people here at NetApp seem to agree that this is the beginning of the end for traditional storage companies such as NetApp, EMC and HP.
