Most cons that come to mind are pretty minor. Teams occasionally reshuffle. I've been around for less than a year though, and so far the team changes have been small and reasonable. We're hiring more designers and product managers, so in the meantime, those areas can feel like a bottleneck.
One thing to call out is Notion's remote policy. I personally like hybrid (we require 2 days in-office), but for those who prefer fully remote, this is probably a big con. I don't envision Notion moving closer to a fully remote policy anytime soon.
And of course, I have to mention the competition. Everyone at Notion is aware that there are tons of competitors in this space. Some days I worry whether our strategies will pay off, but most days I feel like we're on solid ground. In the midst of these layoffs, I'm optimistic that Notion will be fine.
