I worked with OBXtek for over two years. I found them to be a very uncommunicative organization. The program management team that I dealt with was completely MIA. I wouldn't hear from my program manager for months at a time. OBXtek seemed to have neglected to factor in overtime into the contract so either you didn't work overtime and fell behind, or worked overtime and didn't get paid for it. There were no salary raises for the length of the contract, despite increasing costs of living. OBXtek misclassified my position (changed it at least 3 times), made significant errors on paychecks (I received huge late direct deposits since they had messed up..I am also aware that this happened to several other employees at my site...the Department of Labor was informed of this). I never had a performance review. I found the senior management to be condescending, rude, and dismissive of our concerns. The list goes on. The five star reviews on this page do not accurately represent my extremely negative experience with OBXtek.
