No Loyalty to PM's

Pros

The President/CEO and the Founder have solid values

Cons

There is little backing for PM's and the PM must hand hold the PMO staff through every onboarding or offboarding process. PMO staff are immature and unprofessional with little to know accountability for their actions. HR is sadly a part of this problem. Also, most of the positive reviews of this company were created by the management staff in an effort to get a higher rating...

We appreciate your feedback as we strive to improve our project management support for PMs. Though there is a level of information sharing and collaboration between the PMO and PMs, we do expect our project management support to be professional and mature as well as knowledgeable in their duties. Clearly that was not your experience. We are conducting an internal review of our processes and procedures, and where necessary, we will take steps to improve not only on the operational support provided to managers but also the professional behavior exhibited through continued guidance and training. Great company to work for

Pros

I have worked for two other government contractors and can honestly say that OBXTek is by far the best I have encountered. They really care about their employees and I love that they are a small business because I have gotten to know pretty much everyone who works at corporate and even spoke with the CEO. They offer very competitive and fair pay and the benefits are great.

Cons

Being a small company, they do not have access to the amount of candidates that large contractors do so we have been struggling to staff my particular project but the recruiting team works around the clock and has done everything they can.
