Pros

The product is well known and well respected in the industry. A lot of avenues to sell into and the product helps customers in a variety of ways. There is a good commission structure and management always tries to find ways for employees to make more. Training is thorough and ongoing if you want it to be. There is a LOT of support from other teams and they're always willing and available to help. Very encouraging atmosphere - celebrate wins, highlight hard work and are encouraging during the rough patches. Everyone is modest and easy to work with - no cancerous people on the team. They encourage growth and truly pick the right people for leadership and even have leadership courses to set specific people up for that path, if they want to. You need to hop on the ShiftKey train because it's going with or without you (this can be a pro or a con depending on how you see it). The people who haven't hopped on board have had the roughest time. The comments about management in other reviews are primarily from people who made the manager's lives hard or thought they were out to get you. The managers are ALL good and have all employees in their best interest. Be a good employee, and they'll be good to you. It's not anything new. ShiftKey did acquire OnShift in 2023 and yes the culture did change but that doesn't affect anyone new. The culture is relaxed and flexible but the parent company brings an element of sophistication. With a large company comes high expectations from the board. Take it or leave it. OnShift is now 100% remote. We did go back to the office for a few months but that has since changed. Leadership makes a point to ensure everyone is still connected.

Cons

Sales is 99% cold outreach. Very few, if any, inbound leads and no BDRs to help. Call metrics are based on quantity, not quality. While managers are great and do their best, they are spread thin, they're only human and there's only so much time in the day. Pay is significantly lower than similar positions to the industry. Benefits are the bare minimum and I now expect to get a bill because my insurance doesn't cover the service or choose from a limited selection of doctors who takes our insurance, 1 month paid maternity leave is heartbreaking.

Pros

Salaries are higher than elsewhere in the city.

Cons

There are reasons the salaries are higher than elsewhere in the city -- this business has many detriments.
