Pros

The only pro about working for this company is the people, One Trust has some of the most dedicated employees. You are able to move laterally to other departments.

Cons

This company does not value your hard work, extra time spent learning the product nor do they reward high performers. Some managers are very inexperienced when it comes to communication and respecting everybody. Many college graduates come here to start there careers and are willing to learn, however -- there is not an in depth training. The process of getting questions answered is terrible, the front line employees are not supported by management at all. The most despicable thing about this company is the dishonesty. They have let go over half of my colleagues and expect high performance. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!! I have been here long enough to know, working here for a year is the equivalent of 5 years at another company.

OneTrust Response

Thank you for sharing your experience at OneTrust and for highlighting the quality of your coworkers. We take great pride in hiring passionate and motivated individuals who are capable of effectively contributing to our company mission. To highlight the confidence we have in our employees we strive to offer the ability to directly impact their personal growth by exploring their own career path(s). While this does offer the option to move laterally within a business unit, there are numerous examples of individuals moving into positions of greater responsibility and visibility. Along those lines, we take pride in our commitment to promoting internal talent. We understand this often comes with a learning curve for those who might be leading teams for the very first time. We launched a Learning and Development program and have already rolled out initiatives focused on helping our people managers become stronger, more effective leaders. Additionally, we invest a lot of time and resources into preliminary and ongoing training for our employees. This starts with our in-depth, comprehensive new hire bootcamp, continues with industry certifications, and is on-going across the organization whether its weekly departmental training, our “Hate to Lose” sales webinars, new product training or designated offering “office hours.” We will continue to add onto and improve these programs. Similarly, we welcome feedback and see a two-way line of communication as a way for us to refine the processes we currently have in place. Please feel free to contact your HR Business Partner to help us understand your specific needs, concerns and suggestions. We are driven to help every employee thrive and are committed to open access and transparency whenever possible. We intend to continuously improve our already existing HR and Product announcements and encourage attendance and active participation during our monthly All-Hands meetings and Ask Me Anything sessions with our CEO. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. It is sincerely appreciated.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
