Pros

Good Benes Good Pay Difficult to get fired, but still possible. Volunteer opportunities Good place if you are in management

Cons

High performers get brushed aside (go somewhere else if you are a high performer). Low performers/outsiders get promoted Dysfunctional team leadership (some depts) Passive-Aggressiveness (you've been warned) Communication bad Whole departments will quit due to poor leadership/treatment Rumor spreading Friends who work in a small department here agree with this and are sickened by this behavior. Be ready to put on a fake smile. It isn't going to change. People are shamed because they are 'too good' at their job. Too many people get hired and then quit.

Pros

PacificSource genuinely cares for their employees and offers full time remote working opportunities, which Boomers have taken away everywhere else.

Cons

I think about quitting at least once a week because the employees here are soul-sucking. Entitled and out of touch. Might be the healthcare industry, but employees here doesn’t seem to understand the concept of smart business and our viability in the market if we don’t shape up.

Pros

Coworkers who support each other, care about the business, and work from home.

Cons

The path of destruction and mismanagement that’s at the executive level is astonishing. None of them appeared to know anything about how the work is being done and no one seems to have a clue about what updates and changes are happening, let alone how to proceed with changes since they have no clue about the steps within the work, which leads to a ton of confusion across teams. Asking questions and seeking conversation within this “open door” company is risky and labels you as “resistant”. It’s common and is keeping the people who are doing the work from participating in conversation because of fear of being retaliated against or of being viewed negatively.
