Pros
Empowered to live by the Core Values and "do the right thing" - regardless of the work required or expense to the business - we do the right thing for the community, members, providers, AND employees! Team work makes the dream work. Collaboration at its finest - not a title driven organization. Everyone is so willing to roll up the sleeves when necessary. Community involvement - contribute and volunteer to 100's (that number is real) of organizations within the community to truly provide support. Also offer 1 paid "volunteer" day to all employees - and you can volunteer where you choose to contribute. Our customer service metrics are my largest bragging point. We connect with our customers and ensure a high quality and caring experience. Treating them like we would want to be treated. Transparency is excellent - our CEO gives us visibility to metrics and forward projections at our All Hands monthly meetings. The majority of placements are from internal candidates - lots of opportunities here. Benefits offering is one of the best I have seen.
Cons
If you are not a mission focused individual who really wants to be part of making a difference - the culture may not be a fit.
