Pros
The only pro for me would be the regulars and high tabs, which unequivocally equals a reliable and stable income. Management is lacking in numerous ways. As a result of their shortcomings and lack of communication skills, they tend to put the blame and stress on their employees instead of taking responsibility for not setting clear guidelines and expectations. Misogyny and abuse-of-power are alive and real in the realm of management at Pappadeaux. It’s only a matter of time before their disrespect and power hungry managers find themselves in a serious predicament. The turnover rate is high as a result of maltreatment and misdirection in the workplace. Don’t get comfortable with your shifts, ie; management will punish you and hold your shifts over your head if you are not meeting their levels of standards and excellence (which is highly ambiguous and really depends on how well-liked you are, not your job performance). Bartenders especially, are not treated with an equal level of scrutiny amongst each other. Simply speaking, if your general manager has a personal vendetta against you, you will likely be dealing with daily hell no matter how hard you try, while everyone else gets away with murder.
