Pros
You can work flexible hours and get a decent amount of tips on top of working less hours than most and still able to make the same.
Cons
Everyone acts like they're still in high school, only they're grown adults. Most managers don't care about the employees unless you do something for them which can range between sexual or kiss up to them. There are no benefits like paid vacations, retirement, medical insurance, etc. Most customers do not tip 20% which is now an average due to inflation and the fact that servers pay 1.5% of whatever they sell REGARDLESS of tip. So if someone stiffs you on a $100 check, which happens regardless of service because people can't afford the tip, you have to pay $1.50 to Pappadeaux, which means you're paying to work! The company illegally changes the employees hours so that they don't have to pay the servers anymore than what they have to (which is $2.13 an hour). Honestly, you can find a way better restaurant and corporation than this.
