Pros

People - you can meet some of the brightest people at Playtech. Almost everyone is very helpful and friendly. Most are really experienced professionals and you can learn a lot from them. Culture - after a number of questionable choices in the past, the culture at Playtech has risen like a phoenix from the ashes. At the moment of my leaving, it had never been nicer to work at Playtech - flexible working time, both mid-level and top-level leadership really care about their employees, sometimes to incredible effect (organizing the evacuation and helping of 700 employees and their family members in Kyiv for example). Excellent opportunities to work outside of your role if you so desire - I started out as a technical writer, then became a team leader, then started helping out in communication, branding, the company blog, organizing company-wide tech talks, etc. There was always something interesting to do or get involved with.

Cons

Career paths are somewhat limited. The company has hit its mature stage ages ago, so career progress is no longer as easy to achieve as in a startup or a newer company. Salary - while in general salaries are good, Playtech seems to fall a bit behind as the seniority of employees increases, leading to a situation where some other companies can make significantly better offers based on your experience and skills.
