Pros
Teams worked hard despite difficult business conditions.
Cons
My employment was terminated on January 12 with a signed severance agreement provided by the company. The very next day, January 13, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Following the Chapter 11 filing, the previously promised severance payments were suspended and ultimately not paid. From an employee perspective, the timing made it feel like the entire process was carefully structured to avoid honoring severance obligations. While the company may have acted within legal boundaries, the experience left impacted employees with little transparency, no meaningful communication, and significant financial uncertainty. The handling of the separation severely damaged trust and morale.
