Pros
If you are hiring - select wisely - focusing on ICs, not "leaders" here.
Cons
In certain (mostly non-engineering) orgs - especially those drifting: a tight network of individuals moves from Forethought, UiPath, Cisco, etc, internally known as the "gang" or bad apples - read through the reviews here to verify yourself. They don't deliver but they rise or at least try their best to stay. - zero attributable revenue - even while "owning GTM/Presales" - All majors deals lost to competitors - Customer churn ignored or blamed downward ... (typical behavior of this gang) - Sharp, high-output peers pushed side or out by this group - Key roles filled with safe, under-qualified loyalists which do not pose a threat to them They protect one another. They manage up, yes they truly thrive at it ... And they sell a story to insecure leadership (unfortunately) that wants validation more than impact. If you are considering hiring someone like this, especially those who climbed without shipping, ask yourself: Is it their competence that conviced you or their flattery feeding your own ego? The Dunning-Kruger dynamic plays out in plain sight at this company: Those who deliver are often quiet; Those who fail, promote each other loudly. sadly.
