Amazing colleagues, nice to be able to work remotely (but nice offices too).
Cons
Scality was, when I started a bright and promising company. Even though the intreview process was long, uncalled for and painful, it seemed worth it. They'll lure you with words like "innovative" "disruptive", "bold", "travel to other offices", "sports program". But in fact, Scality budget is running very low. What they call a startup is no more. The office is well located, you can do remote work but other than that ? Not much that will keep you motivated for long. The people working there are bright and promising, if you exclude management. Sadly, it is the main reason for departures and de-motivation of their best employees. Yes, "people do not quit companies, they quit their bosses." Nobody can be replaced, they can only be succeeded. Sad fact about Scality is that they'll push employees until they do not care anymore. One last thing, overachievement of a small team or someone not in the spotlight will often go unseen and un-thanked. That's just sad.
