I feel appreciated at Schuman. Every day is a new challenge and the people are really good to work with. The owner is very approachable and he frequently stops by our desks to ask how things are going. Many people bring in their dogs to the office which is nice. They are pretty flexible when I need to be out of the office which makes family life a lot easier.

Cons

My weight! They bring in bagels each week and we celebrate a lot of birthdays with lunch and cake which is only a problem because I have no will power.

Leadership is very good about communicating and engaging with the company. Pay is commensurate with the market and they have significantly improved the benefits package.

Cons

Insurance is a bit expensive, but good coverage.

Pros

Decent compensation and benefits. Nice kitchen at Fairfield HQ office. Some cool people.

Cons

Absentee senior leadership. Terrible IT project management. ZERO work-life balance: demand planning team is 50% staffed and massively overloaded. Dishonest, scattered mid-level leadership that avoids responsibility while constantly dreaming up new ways to make the job more difficult.
