Business Outlook
Pros
The work is varied in the engineering department, working on Interesting technologies. Semtech is a mid sized company allowing the management team to take a long term strategic view without forcing unrealistic timescales on the development process in a desperate dash to revenue. There is ample opportunity for the engineering teams to engage with the end customer & not end up being small cogs in a big machine.
Cons
Downside is that the company is heavily focused on the US. Employees working in satellite offices outside of the main HQ tend to be overlooked for promotion.
