Pros

It was a paycheck when I needed it.

Cons

Where to start, Upper management is horrendous, COO that knows nothing of leadership, No way you go from a grunt scooping up water to a COO in 5 years, especially with no higher learning. Worst managed companies I have ever worked for. Owner is mildly present when they "feel" like coming into the office. There is a clear preference for Mitigation over the Reconstruction side of the business. Restructured our pay half way through my 10 months on the job. from Hourly with unlimited overtime to salary at a lower rate. Servpro as a corporation needs more oversight on their franchise owners, this particular owner is claiming more equipment on hand giving them larger jobs than what they can actually handle which is fraud. Also taking money out of people checks without prior authorization, Just too shady and as I found out more I had to leave a review and the company after only 10 months.

Pros

Immediate leadership was great, and starting pay was competitive. There are people who genuinely want to see the company succeed. The owners were personable and made a point to interact with all of the staff.

Cons

Dishonest. When hired I was promised commissions on profitable jobs. My whole time there I, my boss, and the only other project manager never saw a bonus, even though the department saw very significant increases in profit margins since I was hired, due in large part to the changes made to the process between my boss and myself. I was moved out to the region for this job and missed some time due to complications with the move, as well as some health struggles. I was given understanding and advised to keep and eye on it. When given news that our department was essentially dissolving and I would be taking on the work of half the team, I left early to discuss with my wife. On returning I was immediately terminated without any warning whatsoever and nothing lined up in a state I haven’t had time to make connections. Infighting among the staff is also an ongoing issue.
