Pros
Work mostly independently, company car, easy job that is almost entirely talking to people about services and making sure they think "Servpro" when a disaster happens
Cons
Each Servpro is a Franchise so it's a complete crap-shoot as to what the owner is like. These are usually family owned and are ripe with favoritism and neopotism. The franchise I worked at in Worcester MA was owned by a guy who was actually younger than me (early 30's) who was given the company by his Daddy who owned multiple franchises. He never went to job sites EVER. He rolled in around 11am, did some work for an hour, went to lunch, came back did some work for another hour and left before 5pm every single day. I was once written up for not putting "Hello" at the beginning of an email to him...he said it was disrespectful. Another time I missed a call from him, after 5pm, while I was driving home from work and he actually told me to "not let it happen again". I was eventually fired on the same day my supervisor asked me if I would pitch on a Xmas gift for him! I refused citing that I had many family members and friends to buy gifts for. She had a meeting with the Owner later that day and when she returned I was fired for "performance".
