Pros
Helping the elderly and people who truly appreciate your work. Knowing on the RARE occasion when you are getting out. Some people are honest, but not often.
Cons
Too demanding hours, sometimes you don't go home until the next day, get a couple hours sleep and go back for more. Many 24+ hour days. No work/ life balance. The Pay is ridiculously low for the amount of hours put in. The management are sketchy, back-stabbing people. You think you're friends, but they turn off the record conversations into negatives and put it in your personnel file. They don't care when you break bones, or have severe allergies and refuse to let you get medical attention. But, when you have a minor cut, that can be fixed with Super Glue, they want to take you for stitches. Ridiculous. High Turn over from pay scale, and On-Call rotation. (every other week) HOARDER JOBS! LOTS of them. GREEDY- They take as much money from insurance claims as they possibly can so the customer is left to pay for damaged contents on their own, regardless if they have the money. Mold mitigation isn't properly done. Management who repeats putting air movement on mold- spreading the spores throughout the structures. Treats employees like peasants even though you work your ass off for them. Vehicles in POOR mechanical condition and don't get repaired for months to years despite being reported week after week. After finally fixing them, after more damage has been done from neglect, they accuse you for not taking care of the vehicle. Makes you buy your own tools for the job, which cost me at least 6 grand. They hire from outside rather than promote.
