Pros
The Servpro I work at is a family owned franchise so there is love amongst all employees. We really care for each other. You work with a lot of hard workers. You are a part of the good in the world that takes care of people when disaster strikes. Benefits are not so bad. You get holidays off. We received Profit sharing every quarter. We have mid year and end of year company parties to boost morale.
Cons
-Compensation is horrible. -Not much room for office staff to move up on the ladder. -Owner and Managers can be mean and hurtful toward their Subordinates -Demeaning -Dirty work -Small Biz with some prejudices and sexual remarks -Unprofessional at times -Benefits are good BUT what's the point of offering plans that employees can't afford. Without raises they can't use their benefits. -I've worked there for 4 years and I only make 10 bucks an hour. -Production Staff really work hard and are definitely not treated the way they should be. -They make you feel horrible to missing work. -If you are sick, you should show UP TO WORK so that they can prove you are really sick. -The company has generate Double the income within 1 year and in general, most of the staff hasn't received any raises -You never feel really appreciated. -Even though we receive to Company parties a year and profit sharing, having praises twice a year is just not enough for the 24 hour services that our team provides. -There is a special 24hr/365day "Trauma Team" who are supposed to drop what they are doing at any point in time to clean up blood/bodily fluids/Matter etc. and do not get ANY bonuses for doing the work; mean while the company benefits from the high dollar nature of this type of clean up. NOT FAIR AT ALL! -No Communication. This company seriously lacks communication. -1 manager in particular absolutely doesn't give a hoot. He just treats everyone like dirt and leads them blindly into jobs.
