Pros

Great benefits and profit sharing A huge gym Lots of parking Hybrid work environment

Cons

The worst bunch of micromanagers I've ever seen. They watch every little thing you do and are constantly on your back. They even question bathroom breaks! It's never ending. You are treated like a toddler all the time. There is ZERO training so you better know everything about the company and their 20 different software programs right off the bat. They lie to get you in the door, then lie some more about what you will be doing, then lie again and your job ends up being nothing like you had originally discussed. They celebrate when natural disasters happen because that's money for them and their franchises. I've never seen franchise people so excited about people's disasters. It made me sick. They are also a typical corporate culture. They are a carbon copy of every other big corporation. There is nothing original. It's a pretty toxic office environment, but you do get to work from home 2 to 3 days per week, so at least you can escape it for a few days. The executives are also unapproachable and people are petrified to even walk by their office doors. They lead with fear and that's a disastrous way to lead. Good people don't stay in that kind of environment. I've never worked in a place where everyone fears the executives and won't even speak around them. Just goes to show the toxic nature of this place. They don't have horrendous Google reviews for nothing. The pay is just average so don't expect too much. The company will do well though because they do whatever they have to in order to make lots of money. They pretend to be about the people but it's the bottom line that truly matters. I am glad I left.

Pros

Immediate leadership was great, and starting pay was competitive. There are people who genuinely want to see the company succeed. The owners were personable and made a point to interact with all of the staff.

Cons

Dishonest. When hired I was promised commissions on profitable jobs. My whole time there I, my boss, and the only other project manager never saw a bonus, even though the department saw very significant increases in profit margins since I was hired, due in large part to the changes made to the process between my boss and myself. I was moved out to the region for this job and missed some time due to complications with the move, as well as some health struggles. I was given understanding and advised to keep and eye on it. When given news that our department was essentially dissolving and I would be taking on the work of half the team, I left early to discuss with my wife. On returning I was immediately terminated without any warning whatsoever and nothing lined up in a state I haven’t had time to make connections. Infighting among the staff is also an ongoing issue.
