Pros

Talented recruiters. They should join the sales team with the way they sell the company to new hires. Decent product Free coffee and fruits, if that's your thing Genuinely good co-workers

Cons

Where to even begin? Company level: -subpar benefits, no equity except for a select few (but definitely all senior leadership) -Mandatory hours in office, not just days. You have to physically be in office from 8 am to 5 pm and individually badge in (can't walk in with a group of people) -Not family friendly culture at all. No spouses or significant others are invited to company events, you can't take PTO before or after a company trip, very inflexible if you have to leave before 5pm to care for your children. -Rampant micro-manage culture. They're a step away from asking sellers to give account for how all their time is spent -Zero opportunities for career growth. There is a woefully broken system to supposedly move you up "levels" and it's supposed to be re-worked but that's been promised since 2024. In the meantime, every little level change comes with no more than a 3% raise. -No professional development support for ICs, and barely any support for in-office needs. Need a standing desk? buy it yourself or get a doctor's note in order for the company to provide one. -Disjointed leadership mentalities between Europe and the US -HR team doesn't actually care for or look out for you, only for the business. Careful what you say to or around them. And definitely don't expect them to advocate for you should you be in a situation that necessitates an internal advocate. If you're looking to join the Sales org, stay away. Especially if it's for the US team. The morale in the US sales org is low due to awful VP management. One day everyone is a great team full of hard workers, another day you have to come in earlier, stay later, send one more email because numbers are not missed. Period. Full stop. You never know what version you'll get, but if you like to hear absolute statements like "period. full stop" this is the team for you. What you can expect if you join: a very rigid, inflexible day to day filled with mandated meetings and mandated activities. A VP who leads by inducing fear and is not interested in your career growth, only in hitting his number. Managers who mean well but are over-worked and without support. Mandated every day in-office policy for the last week of EOQ and EOM if the forecast is not doing well. Mandatory public deal reviews the last week of a month and the last two weeks of the quarter. When things don't go well you'll be asked to do more but not told exactly what "more" is. Very little recognition for when you do well, and no formal president's club. Those recent 5 star reviews with the bare minimum word count? Probably a favor asked by HR to counter actual reviews and best to ignore.

Pros

Got to go to Disneyland Paris a couple of times.

Cons

Career growth and internal mobility did not match the expectations that were communicated to me when I joined. I relocated across the country in part because I believed there would be a realistic path to transition from SDR into a Sales Engineer role. Early conversations with leadership were encouraging, and I received support from my manager, senior sales leadership, and the SE organization regarding that goal. I was told that the primary requirement was completing the company's one-year minimum tenure before changing teams. To prepare, I invested significant personal time into technical training, completed cloud computing and solutions architect coursework, conducted product demonstrations beyond the normal scope of my role, and maintained regular development discussions with SE leadership. After reaching the one-year mark, the timeline for pursuing the opportunity continued to shift. First, additional approvals were needed. Later, I was told organizational changes needed to occur before a position would become available. Several months later, I was informed that there were no open positions and no clear timeline for when one might exist. What was most disappointing was not that I wasn't selected for the role, but that I never had the opportunity to formally interview after spending more than a year preparing for the transition with leadership's encouragement. Based on my experience, employees interested in internal mobility should seek clear commitments regarding hiring plans, role availability, and promotion timelines rather than relying on informal support or verbal encouragement.
