No State Retirement, No PTO, No job security, OPS positions in State of Florida last years and are not temp like designed, so essentially you are doing the same work as Career Service position, just not the pay. The State does not pay into your social security. 3 percent of your pay goes into a required retirement system. When the Govenor changes your entire department will change. It's hard to have a vision for the department and work towards it. Constant putting out of fires due to not enough staff.
