Bad organizational chart, deep where it should be shallow and flat where it should be layered. - Anonymous employee Support.com Employee Review

Pros

Their work-at-home model is great. Most "techies" already have computer systems that are more than adequate for the job, and the company has tried to create a sense of community even though we're scattered across two countries. Benefits are great; schedules not so much, but you have to remember that we're a 24/7/365 company.

Cons

There does seem to be a LOT of favoritism when it comes to promotions. Even without face time, who you know is more important than what you know, and unless your immediate supervisor has a lot of clout, you'll never get the chance to move up. Canadian employees are heavily weighted for supervisory and management positions, and the company never promotes internally above the first two levels. All mid-level and upper management are outside hires.

When I worked there there was competitive pay and benefits. Good at hiring excellent staff. Fun staff events. Good leadership.

Cons

The business product transitioned into a services related product. Not very exciting
