Pros

You get to work from home and they are slightly flexible with schedule modifications to fit your lifestyle. No morning traffic or getting stuck on a daily commute. Most customers were genuinely happy to work with American workers as vs scripted, unknowledgeable, inexperienced outsourced workers as is typical in tech support.

Cons

Supervisors are just other work from home people, some of whom give you no freedom to make decisions concerning how you will resolve the clients issues. Micromanagement makes for very poor interactions with very inexperienced supervisors. No Raises, EVER. I doubt that upper management are going without lining their pocketbooks year after year but the front-lines get nothing to show for their hard work. If you do one little thing wrong, they will demoralize you but you get nothing back in terms of praise. Except from the customer directly.
