Pros

Been Employed a couple months now. I have to say, I like it. As how supervisors monitor and audit our calls, it don't bother me a bit. My focus is helping the customer resolve these technical issues. At times, yeah. I do find some low scores with QA audits. With that said, so far, I have not found anyone penalize me for it. Before I got employed with this position, I would PC repair on my own time, charging customers (Friends & Relatives) when they had hardware/ software problems. I didn't consider this to be self employment. I would charge a small amount because I love doing it. Personally, I thirst for knowledge. So working as an RST does keep me occupied. I'm mostly on the PC most of the time trying to find new techs and specs as well as learn to navigate as well as program (code) on web design platform software. Honestly, I look forward to the start of the shift and I have not missed any days of work. Repairing hardware/software as well with network issues is my field anyways. Compared to other jobs in the past, I have to say, this is my best one.

Cons

The only disadvantage I experience while in production, is dealing with a customer that does not listen It's not that bad. I don't feel pressured with negative feedback I get with those types of Cx. They want to vent about something they can not fix due to lack of patents for not knowing how to maintain their own network. So they have to blame the ISP. Now this does not involve those Cx's that have a defective Gateway. If a customer wants to get a situation done, work it out with the ISP instead of sitting there crying which does not go anywhere. Thats all. I'm not going to sit here ramping and raving how I don't get paid enough or how I have no free time. A JOB IS A JOB! Work from home or not, it results with someone to look over your shoulder either and anyway.
