-insensitive trainers -extremely disorganized company. i ended up starting my training two months late because their recruiters don’t have a clue what they’re doing and decide to send the same follow up emails through 4 different people. they had asked for my drivers license and other identification so i filled out the form and the very same week i had 3 other recruiters sending the same email asking me to send my identification, i communicated with them that i already had had somehow all that got lost so they ended up pushing me to a later start date TWICE because they don’t keep track of emails coming in to them -don’t ever think about asking for time off or needing to leave an hour early during their “training period” that is supposed to last around 1-2 months but usually gets extended because of their own disorganization; meaning you further have to postpone any important doctor appointments, family matters, or god forbid you get sick or get covid during this time and need a day off to rest. they tell you you’re allowed to miss 16 hours max during training but don’t tell you that you’ll be written up and nagged at relentlessly every time you decide to chip away at those 16 hours. ALSO when you’re written up during training it carries on to when you’re out of training for the entire year as well which doesn’t make sense because during training they tell you “you cannot miss any time during training but don’t worry once you’re out of training we’re a lot more lenient (they’re not) with time off!” i hit 14 hours on my time missed during training and got two write ups. this was because i caught covid and the flu a month immediately after (immunocompromised). there was another woman in my training class who also was written up because she had to miss time to be with her baby daughter at the hospital. we were also relentlessly told that “we’re lucky to still be there” by our trainer because we were at high risk of just being kicked out of training and that it took a lot of “convincing” to get us to stay. mind you that sometimes the the time you “miss” during training isn’t much missed, as they like to make it seem as though it’s a life or death sentence if you miss one full day. sometimes the time “missed” is a subject they’ve dragged out that doesn’t have much relevance to the job itself such as the “values” of the job. often times there are DAYS of training wasted trying to help people who are having computer issues because the company servers are terrible/glitchy. But god forbid you miss a few hours of training to attend to urgent matters or rest from COVID instead of sitting around for hours listening to the trainers guide someone with system issues or spend a whole day talking about company values - i’ve been rehired at this job a few times for the AEP season and every single time their training is so disorganized. one season i worked they told us the training would last a month and a half and that we were only to be trained to do MA plans and at the last second they decided to train us for employer health group plans AND supplement plans in a span of a WEEK. this was all material that should’ve been taught at the rate of an additional 1-2 months the least. this was never communicated to us until the last days of training and some people ended up leaving because of this. we were not offered more pay for this either. -if you are anywhere not on the east coast expect to wake up at 5am to start your shift. the scheduling system they use also has the time zone messed up that it took 2 days of training for everyone to figure out what time they would actually start their shifts after training, and even with all of that there was still a lot of confusion in the class regarding the time zone the scheduling system is in. OH and all of the computer/system issues you’re having when you log in early in the morning that prevent you from starting calls? all of those are your fault and you should be waking up earlier to do all of that BUT you can’t clock in more than 5 minutes earlier for your shift so yeah just find a way to somehow make the impossible work!

- Lack of transparency in regards to pay, benefits, drug tests, etc... - Extremely high pressure work environment - Extensive micromanagement - Poor relationship with clients leading to poor communication between leadership and agents on the production floor - Questionable Treatment of new agents - Very little flexibility in regards to time off, VTO, and PTO - Leadership extremely limited in ability to affect change and improve conditions (Corrective Actions borderline unavoidable if one has health issues) - Tenure takes precedent over performance leading to ethically questionable leadership and poor communication
