Pros
Okay hours during holidays No commute to work Steady schedule (at least when it comes to shifts, not days) Opportunity to pick up extra hours
Cons
Very poor training, teaches you a lot about the company standards/history but almost nothing about the actual job. Getting a supervisor's help with a tough situation is nigh impossible if they don't feel like helping, even if they are active and available in chat, anticipate being ignored. Absolutely no opportunity for raises or advancement unless until you work your way up to supervisor, you're capped at your starting pay. Dealing with customers at home can be a lot more stressful than it sounds, because you're associating your desk that can be for fun and unwinding with work. Not necessarily a con, but it's definitely a temporary or side job. Treated pretty unimportant by supervisors.
