Pros
Very long delivery times for work tasks, so don't have to rush or put in extra hours. Manager is probably unaware of what you are doing, and won't ask a lot of questions.
Cons
There are times when there is no work to complete. Many Operations people make rookie mistakes and do not know how to manage certain types of systems. Horrible I.T. support and very poor workstations and equipment. Noisy office with dogs everywhere. Can't get a production system to scale due to a lack of skills by some employees, and decided to replace the system with something which will be harder to scale.
