Pros

An always changing cast of characters to work with. It's working in a sitcom, but you get to deal with draconian rules that the company forces upon you and entitled customers who think you spit in their food.

Cons

Ridiculous rules and policies, like no sitting down even if you are eating. I often worked 14 hours shifts where I was not allowed to sit down, even to eat my staff meal. You get a discount on food, but not on their overpriced beer. Seriously, $6.50 for a pint of craft beer that you can get across at another bar for half the price. You are not paid a check, you are given a bank card that they put money on that charges you for withdrawing money. If you have less than $20 on there, too bad you can't withdraw that cash from an ATM. Only team sporting events displayed. So no boxing or MMA. Management turnover is ridiculous. I worked there for more than a year and had 3 different General Managers and so many rotating secondary managers that I stopped learning names. I saw some servers punished and suspended for a week because one drama-causing server lied to a manager. No discussion, no explanation was asked for. Just suspension. Even though I had worked my way up to trainer and bartender I was never given benefit of the doubt when it came to disputes with unruly customers.

Cons

Many. Hired as a Bartender and Management was rude and aggressive, Specifically one Manager, Asked me, "WE GONNA HAVE A PROBLEM?!" Tried it out for a small period of time. They are very disorganized, Bugs and Dirty environment, Many walking health code violations. The pay for training is $7 PER HOUR. Below minimum wage. One coworker had hygiene so incredibly bad I could not work with him. They NEVER paid me. Did not make it long here. Stay Away, Run,
