Pros
On none busy days, this is the easiest job in the whole store. This is the only base level position with immunity to being pulled out of your department. Are fulfillment or checkout lanes dying? Too bad for them, cause we need someone watching the deli counter at all times.
Cons
When it gets busy, you can really feel it. In other departments, you don't necessarily have to work harder on a busy day as long as you get everything done. In deli however, the amount of people in the store directly correlates with the amount of orders you need to slice.
