Pros

-When I was there, culture was extremely positive and inclusive. -Benefits were okay. -Co-workers and team leads were fantastic. -Company seemed really determined to do the best by their employees.

Cons

-Much was promised in the way of training and mentorship, but no consistent programs or approach ever materialized. -Most of the really effective leadership quickly moved on. -Was presented as an innovative technology company, but ended up being a particularly nice call center instead. -Oftentimes the company was hyperattentive to regular teammates, but on-site leadership, IT, HR, training, etc. was viewed as optional and the negative impact trickled down to teammates anyway.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
