Pros

Fully remote- there is no need to visit office at all, it's really convenient Good salary- the salary is slightly higher than in other CS companies in the region

Cons

Endless corporative procedures and bad organization - there are numerous issues within the company itself that take ages to get resolved and simple things like schedule, small IT issues etc turn out to be way more complicated than they should be. Incompetent management - the people in management are not organized well and don't know basic things about operations which leads to dissatisfaction and ignorance in lower positions as well. Nepotism is playing a big role too, the same people are getting out of failed projects over and over again and are still getting positions on new projects depending on their relationships with upper management

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
