Pros
Longevity and job security for those willing to stick it out One personal day per year
Cons
zero flexibility Burnout is widespread on the production floor many employees are overworked with little recognition. No bonuses or meaningful incentives for long term employees PTO is overly restricted. You are told how and when to use your time off. Saturdays are frequently mandatory and you can’t request them off even for important family events Lack of work-life balance, making it hard to be present for kids and family. Unequal treatment among employees Despite leadership responsibilities, Operators are often undercompensated and underappreciated. This place doesn’t care about you just the numbers. They expect you to give up your weekends, your sleep, and your sanity for nothing in return. No bonuses, no appreciation, and PTO is basically a joke. You’ll burn out while management sits comfortably and pretends not to notice. If you’re not someone’s favorite, don’t expect a promotion or even respect. People leave broken mentally and physically You’re expected to work like a machine with no mistakes, no days off, and no complaints. Meanwhile, management plays favorites, and there’s no clear path to advancement just promises they never keep. You’ll get burnt out fast, and when you finally speak up, they’ll act like you’re the problem. Morale is in the dirt, and so is the future of this place if nothing changes
